Cattleya amethystoglossa 4N x sib select
Sib between two excellent tetraploid amethystoglossas.
Flowers should have very heavy substance and good shape.
3" - 25.00
Cattleya chocoensis semialba 'Pompeu' x sib
Out cross of two excellent chocoensis semi-albas. Color should be white on the segments and the lip with magenta markings on
the frontlobe. Color should be very similar to the one pictured here, but with a darker lip. This is different
from the batch previously offered here.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya chocoensis (tipo x orlata)
Here we have a plant like the one pictured here
outcrossed with another with flowers with a full circle of color around the lip. Result should be excellent shapes
on flowers with varied degrees of color encircling the lip.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya chocoensis (semi alba suave x labelo escuro 'Girandota')
A flower with the color almost exactly like the
one pictured here was outcrossed with another with a very dark lip. Both with excellent shapes, so results expected
are again excellent shapes and lip colors varying from very light to dark.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya dowiana rosita
x sib
Spectacular color form of the species. This is the
subspecies from Costa Rica, but with lots of markings on petals, similar to the one shown here.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya dowiana
(Costa Rica) x sib
Very similar to the rositas, except that the markings
are not as intense. Plants come also from Costa Rica, so they don't need the hot dry season as the dowianas (aureas)
from Colombia. As a result, they are much easier to grow.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya eldorado concolor punctata 'Bela' x self
Flowers of the mother plant are concolor pink, except
for a small darker mark on the lip, exactly like the one shown here. Flowers should very just a little, mostly
repeating the color. As with all eldorados, very fragrant.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya eldorado semi-alba 'Anna
Clara' x self
A very rare color form of the species. Although
light-colored flowers are common in Cattleya
eldorado, true semi-albas are extremely
rare. The selfing is a way to try to produce more of those.
3" - 45.00
Cattleya eldorado magenta orlata pincelada 'Tapajós' x self
Another magnificent color form of Cattleya eldorado. Flowers are very dark with a even more contrasting lip. Selfings are the way to go to
try to produce more of these, and the variation might be only in the mount of dark color on the lips. Limited.
3" - 65.00
Cattleya granulosa ('Coliseu' x 'Formosa')
Another outcross to produce more good granulosas. In this case, flowers are more
in greenish tones, nevertheless with excellent shape.
3" - 30.00
Cattleya guttata coerulea ('Cambury' x 'Elédio')
An outcross of two excellent coeruleas. They should produce 100% coeruleas, the
only variation being on the intensity of color and pattern of markings. This is a first blooming seedling of a
previous same outcross.
3" - 75.00
Cattleya harrisoniana peloric
'F. Miranda' x self
Selfing of one of the few plants produced from the original selfing. As a second
generation selfing, most of the plants should produce peloric flowers, but still there is no 100% guarantee.
3" - 65.00
Cattleya intermedia coerulea x sib
This kind of cross always confirm the color, so
we expect 100% coeruleas here. Shape is probably typical for the species, but as both parents had intense color,
seedlings should have very showy flowers.
3" - 25.00
Cattleya labiata coerulea ('Junior' x 'Lourival')
Two of the best shaped coeruleas outcrossed, 'Lourival'
pictured here. 'Junior' has a dark full colored lip and an excellent round shape. Compact plants.
2" - 25.00
Cattleya labiata coerulea ('Morumby' x 'Junior')
Here two excellent coeruleas were outcrossed to produce more high quality plants
with flowers of that color. Both parents are proved to produce good coeruleas so expectations are high here.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya labiata coerulea ('Bastião' x 'Lourival')
Yet another seedling batch to produce more of this
favorite color of Cattleya labiata, and again both parents have a good record of producing
high quality coeruleas.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya labiata rubra ('Schuller' x 'Guerreiro')
A seedling batch using two of the best original
rubras. Both have excellent shape and color so we are expecting more of these very dark and round labiatas. First
blooming seedling pictured here.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya leopoldii aquinii ('Belmiro' x 'Tonico')
Sibling two sister plants, both strongly peloric,
will likely produce a good percentage of pelorics like the one here pictured. Very limited quantity, only one per
customer.
4" - 75.00
Cattleya leopoldii aquinii ('#2' x 'CG')
Another sib aimed to produce more of these peloric
leopoldiis, like the one pictured here. The origin is different from that of the previous one, so results will
probably vary in terms of markings and if they are going to be peloric. We'll have to wait and see, but possibilities
are very good.
3" - 65.00
Cattleya leopoldii coerulea 'Miranda' x self
The selfing of an excellent coerulea (pictured here) should produce more plants with flowers of this color form. Good growers.
2" - 65.00
Cattleya leopoldii ('Dark' x vinicolor)
Here we have two excellent dark leopoldiis outcrossed,
one with wine-colored flowers like the one pictured below. No surprises here, plants should produce dark and very
well-shaped leopoldiis.
4" - 45.00
Cattleya leopoldii vinicolor ('Xisto' x 'Athayde')
Outcross of two wine-colored leopoldiis, so the
result expected is more plants with flowers of this very nice and rare color. The variation is probably going to
be in the amount of spotting on the segments and maybe intensity of color.
2" - 30.00
Cattleya loddigesii ('Xisto' x 'Athayde')
Sib of two excellent 4N loddigesiis, and the result
expected is flowers like the one pictured here. The only variation expected is in the amount of spotting, from
none to a few spots.
2" - 35.00
Cattleya loddigesii alba x sib select
Sib of two very nice white loddigesiis. The results
should be very similar to the flowers pictured here, and considering these are very advanced generations, flower
are expected to be 100% white.
3" - 25.00
Cattleya maxima alba 'Drago' x self
A selfing of a very nice white maxima. This multiflowered species produces tall inflorescences of 4-5"flowers, and the white
form enhances the overall effect.
3" - 45.00
Cattleya maxima semialba x self
A selfing of a very nice white with colored lip
maxima, petals also have veins (pictured here). The expectations are that color is repeated as
is mostly the case with this type of seedling.
3" - 35.00
Cattleya mossiae coerulea x sib select
A very nice color form of this favorite Venezuelan
species. Flowers are large, grayish-white with purple stripes on the lip. The lip also has a very bright yellow
throat.
3" - 25.00

3" - 35.00
Cattleya nobilior ('D. Rafael' x 'Luciano')

outrossed, and the only result we can expect is the production of more excellent dark nobiliors.
2" - 30.00
Cattleya nobilior coerulea ('#1' x '#2')
Second generation sib. Color is light grayish-blue,
and so far seedlings have apple green leaves like the parents so color should repeat. Update: first one to flower
pictured here.
3" - 50.00
Cattleya percivaliana ('Karen Graf' x 'Summit')
Two of the best percivalianas around outcrossed
to produce more high quality plants ('Summit' shown here). Flower shape is excellent in both so expectations are
extremely high.
2" - 25.00
Cattleya schilleriana ('Lara' x 'DSC 08')
Excellent outcross with the objective of producing dark and very well-shaped
schillerianas ('DSC 08' pictured here).
2" - 25.00
Cattleya schilleriana coerulea 'Orchidglade' x self
We finally have a few of these available, as we were waiting to see if they confirmed.
Indeed, the first 4 to flower were coeruleas so we are safe to offer them. Limited, one per customer.
4" (NFS) - 150.00
Cattleya schoffieldiana ('Gabriel Uliana' x 'Jubarte')
Outcross with the objective of producing well-shaped green schoffieldianas, as
both parents have. Well, most schoffieldianas are green anyway, but using one plant from Espírito Santo
and another from Bahia should produce vigorous plants.
3" - 30.00
Cattleya schoffieldiana ('Gabriel Uliana' x 'Ano Novo')
In this case, both plants are from Espírito Santo, but with varied amounts
of spotting. So in this case, we also expect very well-shaped flowers, and the variation should be in the amount
of spotting.
3" - 30.00
Cattleya trianae ('The Premier' x 'Rolf')
Two excellent regular-colored trianaes were used
here with the objective of producing more of these trianaes with round and full segments. Very high expectations.
3" - 45.00
Cattleya velutina ('Lisa' x áurea 'Schultz')
Here we have an outcross of two excellent but very different velutinas, one with
no spotting and the other with yellow flowers and lots of spotting. This batch should then produce plants with
colors varying through the whole spectrum of colors of the species.
2" - 30.00
Cattleya violacea x sib select
Another robust bifoliate, C. violacea is the most widespread species in the genus. It can be found all over the Amazon Basin,
so plants are warm growers and like high humidity, fairly high light. Flowers are up to more than 5" across.
Expectations are high on this seedling batch.
3" - 25.00
Cattleya walkeriana coerulea
('Xisto 1' x 'Labelão')
In this case, one of the parents of the batch above
was sibbed with the one pictured here ('Labelão', which means 'Big Lip'), and the results expected are excellent
shapes and outstanding lips, all coeruleas of course.
2" - 75.00
Cattleya walkeriana flammea ('Dona Terezinha' x 'Athayde')
A very interesting outcross, between two peloric
walkerianas. The results expected are flowers with varied degrees of markings on the petals, something fairly new
in walkerianas.
3" - 75.00
Cattleya walkeriana (flammea 'Dona Terezinha' x s/a
aquinii 'Gloriosa')
In this case, two walkerianas with markings on the
petals were outcrossed, a pink one ('Dona Terezinha', pictured here) and the other a semi-alba. These are not pelorics,
but instead like flammeas (some splashing), so this is the result we are expecting, again rare in walkerianas.
3" - 55.00
Cattleya warneri concolor 'Santa Teresa' x self
The very best original warneri concolor.
Flowers are large (up to 7") and have very good shape. Color is a very light uniform pink, producing a pleasing
effect.
2" - 20.00
Cattleya warneri ('Elvira' x 'Mem. R. Kautsky')
Another outcross between two very well-regarded
plants of the species, in this case a coerulea and an amoena (light
pink with slightly darker light pink lip). As is common in this type of cross, plants are pure light green which
makes for expectation of very lightly colored flowers.
3" - 25.00
Cattleya warscewiczii tipo ('Farina' x 'BH')
This seedling batch was made for shape. both parents
have excellent form and color, so we expect flowers of high-quality.
