Brassavola martiana
This is the typical Brassavola
species from the Amazon. Flowers are among the smallest in the genus, but produced in large numbers on the inflorescences.
The main feature of the flowers are the fringed margins on the lips. Rare in cultivation, fragrant at night.

Brassavola perrinii
This is one of the typical Brazilian species, and
because of this naming is still a bit confusing. In any case, this is the form with longer leaves and medium-sized
flowers. Fragrant at night.

Encyclia fowliei
One of the showiest of the Brazilian Encyclia species. It comes from South Bahia, being thus a warm grower. Long branching inflorescences
produce heavilly veined flowers that are about 2" across.

Encyclia randii
This is the Encyclia with
the largest flowers among the Brazilian species. It comes from the Amazon and thus is a warm grower and likes constant
humidity. Bright light conditions. Flowers about 2 ½" across.

Sophronitis bicolor
The most recently described species with large flowers
in the genus. Flowers are red with mostly yellow lips. Plants can get fairly large, and they prefer shade and intermediate
to cool temperature conditions. Very rare and very few available, so one per order please.

Sophronitis wittigiana (rosea) x sib
Two hot-pink roseas was used to produce this seedling batch. Flowers are usually
2"+ across, sometimes up to 3". Flower shape on this picture is not representative, color varies from
this to a somewhat darker tone.
